The AI claims behind Jaden Garza’s latest companies.

Half as Smart, GARZA OS, Garza MD, HXOCorp, and AI-agent deployments at Nomad now form Garza’s public technology narrative. A code-level review finds a real marketing site and a real scripted demo—but no public product source code behind the larger claims.

Owned-site description

Half as Smart

The site presents Half as Smart as an umbrella brand for an AI-product portfolio and identifies Jaden Garza as its CEO and builder. Its central message is that useful AI depends on the surrounding execution system rather than a model alone.

The public page functions primarily as a speaker and positioning site. It does not provide customer references, audited performance results, product documentation, pricing, or a reproducible technical demonstration sufficient to validate the broad architecture claims.

GARZA OS

Half as Smart describes GARZA OS as Garza’s “agent operating stack,” connecting language models to persistent memory, tools, multi-agent coordination, permissions, recovery, and verification.

These are recognizable AI-systems concepts. The reviewed public materials do not expose a code repository, API documentation, benchmarks, deployment architecture, security audit, or third-party customer implementation that would show how much of GARZA OS exists as a distinct product.

Garza MD

Garza publicly described an early health-AI demonstration that accepts symptom narratives and user-supplied records, assembles multiple specialist-style AI agents, has them debate competing interpretations, and produces questions or a summary for a real doctor.

The public build reviewed on November 8, 2026 does not actually do those things. Its sample intake, uploaded-file names, five “doctors,” debate, confidence scores, and verdict are hard-coded into the browser bundle. The page advances through a timed presentation; it contains no file input, file reader, form-data upload, or application API request.

The footer calls the case fictional and de-identified and says the demo was “built with Perplexity Computer.” That is a legitimate prototype disclosure, but it means this public page is evidence of a user-interface concept—not evidence of a functioning medical analysis system, multi-agent backend, or GARZA OS.

HXOCorp / HXO

Garza’s current LinkedIn result lists HXOCorp, while earlier reporting connected HXO LLC to the Garza household and other ventures. The reviewed public pages do not clearly establish HXOCorp’s legal relationship to Half as Smart, GARZA OS, Garza MD, or Nomad Internet.

Until corporate filings or product records clarify that structure, HXOCorp is best treated as a public employer or umbrella label—not proof of a separately operating AI product company.

Public-code audit · November 8, 2026

The attributable GitHub profile has zero public repositories.

The profile is reasonably attributable because it uses the exact name “Jaden Garza,” names Nomad Internet as the company, links nomadinternet.com, and describes him as Nomad’s founder.

Public repositories0GitHub profile and API result.
GitHub-declared forks0There are no public repositories to classify.
Public GARZA OS code0No attributable repository was identified.
Reproducible product builds0No source, tests, releases, or deployment instructions found.
“Real versus forked” finding The public record supports neither “original code” nor “forked code.” With no public repositories, there is nothing available to compare against upstream projects, review for commit authorship, or reproduce. Garza MD uses standard open-source web components and identifies Perplexity Computer as its builder, but that alone is not proof of plagiarism or an undisclosed fork.

Practical risk review

The danger is misplaced trust, not proven malware.

No malware finding is made here. The immediate risks are giving sensitive information or commercial credibility to products whose operator, controls, and capabilities are not fully documented.

High-sensitivity data

Do not upload real medical or genome files

Garza MD visually invites labs, PDFs, images, genome exports, and smartwatch data up to 50 MB. The reviewed page had no privacy policy, terms, HIPAA notice, retention schedule, breach contact, clinician governance, or named data controller.

The current demo does not actually accept files, but a later version could change. Verify the exact operator and written data practices before entering symptoms or uploading any health record.

Capability gap

A polished sequence can be mistaken for a working system

The Garza MD animation shows files being “parsed” and specialists debating, yet those events are prewritten. Viewers should not treat the visual output as a live test, clinical evidence, or proof that GARZA OS exists behind it.

Unverified infrastructure

GARZA OS lacks inspectable evidence

No public source, API reference, release, benchmark, security audit, incident policy, customer confirmation, or architecture sufficient to reproduce the product was identified. Technical vocabulary is not a substitute for those artifacts.

Commercial verification

Carrier and deployment claims deserve direct confirmation

Garza claims nine custom Verizon integrations and major agent deployments at Nomad. Texas previously alleged misrepresentations about Nomad’s carrier relationships. That history does not disprove the new claims, but it is a strong reason to verify them with the named carrier or customers before investing, partnering, or supplying credentials.

Identity context

Name changes can hide relevant history from a quick search

Current pages use Jaden Garza, while the criminal and civil records use Homero Joshua Garza or Josh Garza. Anyone evaluating a product or founder should search all documented name variants and read the actual orders.

What is real

Separate artifacts from capabilities

Half as Smart is a live, security-hardened static marketing site. Garza MD is a live, professionally presented scripted prototype. The GitHub profile is real. None of those facts independently verifies an agent operating system, deployed autonomous workforce, medical analysis engine, or original proprietary codebase.

Nomad Internet + AI

Specific numbers, presently sourced to Garza himself.

Claimed autonomous agents26LinkedIn claim covering a 90-day Nomad deployment.
Claimed workflows49Described as automation used by support and marketing teams.
Claimed Verizon integrations9No independent integration documentation was identified.
Why verification matters here Texas’s earlier Nomad case alleged misrepresentations about carrier relationships. That does not prove the new Verizon-integration claim is false, but it makes independent confirmation especially important before repeating it as fact.

Independent listing

CU Boulder workshop

The public Trustworthy & Responsible AI workshop site listed Jaden Garza as CEO of Half as Smart and as a participant on a November 5, 2026 panel about durable skills in the generative-AI era.

This independently confirms the public affiliation and event listing. It does not validate the venture’s technical or commercial claims.

Open questions

What would materially improve confidence?

  • Named customers willing to confirm deployments
  • Public product documentation or source code
  • Independent security and privacy reviews
  • Reproducible benchmarks and incident reporting
  • For Garza MD, clinical oversight and data-governance disclosures

Finding as of November 8, 2026

Promotional claims are visible. Fraud is not established.

The available record supports saying that Garza is actively promoting several AI brands, an agent-stack concept, a scripted medical-information prototype, and claimed AI deployments inside Nomad. It does not presently support describing those AI ventures themselves as proven scams.

The strongest responsible formulation is: the ventures are linked to a person with prior fraud and consumer-protection judgments, and their current claims require independent verification.
