GEV IO managing member
Texas’s petition identifies Jessica and Alan Harmon as managing partners of GEV IO, LLC. The signed judgment describes Jessica individually and as an owner and manager of Nomad Internet.
Jessica Diane Garza · also identified as Jessica Diane Harmon
Texas records identify Jessica as Homero Garza’s wife and a Nomad/GEV IO manager. The federal GAW cases reviewed here do not name her as a defendant or establish her participation in the 2014–2015 fraud.
The Texas record
Texas’s petition identifies Jessica and Alan Harmon as managing partners of GEV IO, LLC. The signed judgment describes Jessica individually and as an owner and manager of Nomad Internet.
Texas alleged the individual defendants used Nomad as an alter ego, commingled company and personal funds, and used alleged business gains for personal purposes.
Jessica shares the judgment’s obligations with Homero Garza, Alan Harmon, GEV IO, and Jappa and Jaga Management. Payments by one reduce the common balance.
What Texas alleged
Texas alleged that the defendants obtained large numbers of carrier SIM cards through business accounts or fictional identities, despite terms prohibiting resale, and then sold access as though Nomad were an authorized reseller.
The state alleged that carriers terminated unauthorized cards, customers lost service, and some consumers continued to face charges, duplicate billing, missing equipment, or refund problems.
Bitcoin and prison-funding question
The reviewed SEC complaint establishes that some GAW customers purchased Hashlets with Bitcoin and could request Bitcoin withdrawals. It also alleges that actual mining revenue was minimal, later investor money funded earlier payouts, and Garza directed GAW to convert more than $1.5 million in company cash into Bitcoin to keep payouts going.
Those facts establish the funding mechanics alleged in the GAW scheme. They do not establish that Garza retained a hidden Bitcoin cache, transferred stolen Bitcoin to Jessica, or used Bitcoin to finance the household while incarcerated.
Nomad’s consumer-relief period begins January 1, 2020. Garza’s 2022 financial-condition filing says supervised release began October 14, 2020, so Nomad’s operations overlap part of his incarceration. Jessica’s manager status makes her operational role relevant, but the timing alone does not prove where Nomad’s capital originated.
Limits of the record
No reviewed SEC or federal criminal filing names Jessica as a GAW defendant or proves her participation in that earlier conduct.
The 2022 filing does not publish Garza’s income, assets, cryptocurrency holdings, restitution payments, or current unpaid balance.
